Showtyme is returning to Birmingham, Alabama for another year to WOW the crowd!! The Alabama Audition was an extremely exciting event last year and we are going to add to the excitement this year.

Showtyme is bringing a bigger production to Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex this year and adding to the prizes and awards for all of the competitors. Bring your team for a fun filled day and see all the glamour that Showtyme adds to the ordinary Cheer & Dance Event. Let us roll out the red carpet for you and your team at Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama!

TEAMS (ALL FEES ARE PER PERSON)
CHEER AND DANCE SPECIALTY (GROUP & PARTNER STUNT, SOLO) CROSSOVER & ADDITIONAL DANCE
ON-TIME $55 / LATE $60 GROUP STUNT $100 / SOLO $75 ON-TIME $25 / LATE $30

Please make a note of the following deadlines: Early registration is two months prior to your event date.  On-time registration is one month prior to your event date.  Late registration is two weeks prior to your event date.
 
Any competitor has the right to compete on more than one team and in more than one division as long as they abide by all age restrictions.  However, Showtyme does not guarantee the cross-competing athlete will have a full warm-up time with their other teams. A "Crossover" is a cheerleader or dancer that competes on more than one team from the same gym/school at the same event. The "Crossover" fee does not apply to a participant who is on a school team and an all-star team. "Crossover" participants must pay the full registration fee for the first team and will pay the discounted "Crossover" fee for each additional team.
 
Additional Dance fees are applicable for entire dance teams who are competing in more than one division (i.e. Hip Hop AND Pom).   Additional dance fees are only applicable if each participants is registered in another dance division and has paid the full registration fee for the 1st routine.

ShowTyme Will Follow USASF, NACCC, & NHSF Guidelines.

  • All teams must provide a quality CD or cassette Copy to be used during performance.

  • CDs Or Tapes Must Be Labeled With Team Name & Division.

  • DJ will be equipped to play music from digital media such as an MP3 Player or iPod.  No laptops will be accepted as digital sources for music.

  • CDCS strongly recommends that each Team bring a back-up for their music.
  • All Dance Teams (High School and All Star): 2 min 30 sec maximum (2:30)

  • All Star Cheer and College Cheer Teams: 2 min 30 sec maximum (2:30)
    • May Use All Music

  • High School Cheer: 2 min 30 sec maximum (2:30)
    • May have up to 1:30 of Music

  • All Specialty Divisions: One Minute Maximum (1:00)

TROPHIES & PLAQUES
ShowTyme has customized all of our Cheer & Dance plaques and trophies to fit in with our "Star of the Show" Theme. Ranging from Movie Inspired Trophies, to Hollywood "Walk of Fame" Plaques, these awards are sure to be some of the most unique you will come across in your competition season this year.

CHAMPIONSHIP BANNERS
We know how important it is for Gym Owners and Coaches to display the accomplishments of their teams. What better way than to hang our Championship Banners high enough for all to see? Banners will be customized with pictures from the actual winning performance and will be delivered to all our Grand Champs, also known as "The Star of the Show!" shortly after the event.

CHAMPIONSHIP METAL
ShowTyme is proud to offer some of the most innovative Cheer & Dance Awards at our competitions! Not only is our Championship Metal very trendy and Hollywood inspired, but it is also available to each winning team immediately following each award ceremony. Championship Apparel is sure to be worn by all of your athletes long after the memorial weekend is over.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
ShowTyme believes that the dedicated athletes that participate at our events deserve to be rewarded with more than just Trophies and Banners. We will be offering a college scholarship at each of our five events to a graduating senior who displays superior academic performance and plans on cheering at the collegiate level. Scholarship applications are available upon request.

GRAND CHAMPION BACK PACKS
